Friends with a divorce and custody lawyer and she can confirm foster parents or temp guardians really do push the child to not like their parents. It’s heartbreaking to witness and no child should be put through that Edit: I’m not gonna continue to explain myself or my friend when we’ve both dealt with this first hand. They did the same to my children I'm forever heartbroken and did everything them sick folks told me I had to do from the time of tempt place until they were adopted and aged out Every court hearing was Reunification but it was a lie🙏🏾😭😭😭 I will never forgive my self for trusting these evil people

I had a friend who is now no contact with her adoptive parents because they had manipulated her into thinking her parents were never coming back for her and used lawyers to intimidate her parents into giving up their rights. They intercepted every letter her parents sent her and convinced her they hated her. They used her to replace a daughter they had lost. Even changed her name. When she went to collage her birth parents found her and everything came out. Shes still actively building a relationship with her birth parents and has a no contact order with her adoptive parents.

The little girl probably said she didn’t want her hair done because she is starting to hate her hair. It happens to little black girls all too often. When a parent complains about how difficult it is to comb a child’s hair or how hard it is to find someone else to do it for an affordable price, the child starts to hate it and sometimes they even try to use a pair of scissors to cut it off. I knew girls like that as a child. I always hated when my mom combed my hair because she was always complaining about how hard it was to comb. 😢 I was so happy when she let my dad’s friend give me my first relaxer when I was eleven years old. 😅However, that lady had no clue on how to do the relaxer properly and by the time I was 13 most of my hair had fallen out!😮

The documents containing my children’s names were swapped they were never living with their aunty Kim, and that should be looked into. Me and my child’s custody has never been up for dispute. It is really concerning why the Canadian social worker would write that.

For those who dont understand, black people don't get to look unkempt. As a teacher, it is sad but teachers and students judge unkempt hair.

I know its a show or movie but this shit happens all the time. When a child is placed in a foster home the foster parent gets a good amount of money each month for this child from the state. They then do all these lavish things like vacations, amusement parks, every week doing a different thing that cost this outrageous amount. Then the child goes home and believes the foster home is the way everyone should live. Most parents who's kids have gone through this are working multiple jobs just to pay bills. They can't afford these things and the kids think the parents hate them for it.

When I went back to my biological mother she was angry because all my clothes were too small! To be fair my foster mother had her fourth stroke and couldn’t take care of me anymore. But while she was able, she did! I miss her everyday! 😢
