With blood beneath my blade, I paint new rouge upon my face, An old friend visits, in a dream taking place. Old faces, bygone deeds, have vanished from my sight, Still, I remember every one, by day and through the night. Zhong Kui is a legendary figure from Chinese mythology, widely known as the “Demon Queller” and a powerful protector against evil spirits. According to legend, he was a brilliant scholar who performed exceptionally well in the imperial examination but was denied the highest honor because of his unattractive appearance. Humiliated, Zhong Kui took his own life, but after death, the King of Hell recognized his intelligence and strong character and granted him the divine authority to hunt and defeat demons. He is traditionally depicted as a fierce-looking man with a long beard, wearing scholar’s robes and carrying a sword, often shown capturing or fighting evil spirits. People historically placed images of Zhong Kui in their homes as protective symbols, believing that his presence could drive away demons and protect them from evil.
For those who dont know, ZhongKui is basically ancient ghost rider
Bravo on showcasing a f*cking game. Black myth was one of my favorites and deserved many more awards. So much creativity. No Netflix subscription required, no "pre-order before gameplay," just pure confidence and creativity. We need this in gaming.

As someone who has recently taken my time playing Wukong (because I couldn't afford to when it first came out), I am very excited for this one!
It‘s unbelievable that after the global success of the previous game, the company executives remain so humble and are still fully focused on improving their craft. They just posted lengthy reflections on Weibo yesterday—not celebrating, but honestly explaining why they turned down the easy money of a rushed DLC and instead chose to start a brand-new project just to sharpen their skills. They’d rather risk a fresh IP than serve us a half-baked expansion. That’s not business, that’s respect. Unlike some studios that treat games as cash cows, Game Science treats them as art—and us as true partners. This is what real passion looks like. Huge respect.
