My dogs Did this too. I would put the cup under them, and they would walk away. The vet needed to use a catheter.

???? As a vet student this is the first time i've seen this???? Usually the vet just presses on the bladder and urine comes out no need to go outside lmfao

Had a dog who was diabetic and had bladder stones, so getting urine samples was a frequent challenge. this is exactly how my vet told us to do it at home as well. ๐คฃ We had a dedicated pee ladle and pee Tupperware which didn't get used for food.
