This video explains how car brakes stop the wheels through engineering and science. Learn how braking technology evolved from mechanical brakes to hydraulic systems and modern disc brakes.
One of coolest ways for explaining a topic studying each of its transformations from its initial stage up to the most modern form..

ABS stands for Anti-lock Braking System. It is a vital safety feature in modern cars that stops your wheels from locking up when you brake hard. By preventing lock-up, ABS stops dangerous skidding and lets you keep control of the steering during an emergency stop.

The laser technology at the end is called abs (automatic braking system)

Theres also a vacuum pump connected to the brake pedal to help you press the brakes with even more force. You can tell because if you press and release the brakes several times while the engine isn't running, the brake pedal will become much harder to press

ABS is terrifying when it intervene on you for first time. Feels like your car's engine is dropped on the road

That’s also why the brake pedals were so large, so people can use both feet to press the brakes before hydraulic power
