I feel like people are saying they did a low kick for energy, but I think they just did a low kick because their outfit

guys you are all wrong, even if they have on safety shorts they cannot kick high as it's still kinda inappropriate . it would look tacky as a group if only SOME kicked high (referring to lara not having a skirt) so as a group they did not kick high

There’s 2 reasons actually, first they were wearing skirts and second even if they wanted to high kick they couldn’t since they had tight skirts and would probably rip if the did they high kick

They had safety shorts but they were wearing leather skirts Wich makes it almost impossible to kick up high bc look at the other members they kicked up high

It’s called marking. When dancers don’t HAVE to do the things that can take a lot of work they will mark it. BUT during performance you go all out. It’s crazy how many fans make this mistake and are just not knowledges and making assumptions.

No it's not about the skirts they are actually saving energy for the dance

I’m pretty sure it’s just marking. Notice how in the first clip, though some of them are wearing skirts and that could be a contributing factor, it wasn’t a performance like the second clip. So they didn’t have to use full energy. They did NOT collectively decide to do a low kick as a group though as some comments are saying. If you see the full screen version of the first clip, 2 (I think it’s 2 but it might just be one) of them do the normal high kick. We can only see half the group in this video but if you look on the very right you can see Sophia(I think that’s Sophia at least) and she does a high kick. I believe they did in fact have safety shorts in the first clip with skirts

It’s actually two reasons for that cause they don’t wanna hurt themselves before the performance cause if they do it during the performance and they can just keep going, but if they hurt them themselves before the performance, then they can’t do it but also it’s because they’re skirts and it would probably rip hair
