My Husky a month after i brought him home to the family started having one i rushed him to a emergency vet after 3 hours they finally got him to recover its been a year now hes still a happy boy but i can never forget the fear that went though me when it started

They get so frightened when the seizure happens. Our dog would try to run away. We would call to him & pet him til the episode was over

It’s so difficult to see dogs and cats suffering with some of condition it breaks my heart. They are so precious animals.

My son had 1 of 2 seizures last year in July.. and another one not too long after, the very day he was scheduled to go to his first Neurology appointment.. Scariest thing in our life.. Then our poor 24 year old Siamese cat had 2 seizures within a few hours of each other, 3 weeks ago.. We took her to an emergency vet and ultimately had to say goodbye to her.. My son, thank God, hasn't had any since he's been on epilepsy medication twice a day since then.. Absolutely heartbreaking witnessing it.. The helplessness and terror.. Good doggies.. God bless.

I have a friend who has a service dog to help with her epilepsy. It's trained both to warn her before her seizures start so she can sit down to avoid falling over, and to wrap itself around her head during the seizure so she can't bash her head into anything. Dogs really are amazing animals.

Epilepsy. My dog had to be on phenobarbital for all his life.

I've seen an epileptic Human have a seizure its scary but never a dog but I know most animals have lots of similar problems that we do. it's life ❤️🦴

My beagle Elle used to get seizures often. I’d just hold her and call her name softly till it passed. God gave me good 15 years with her till she passed while I held her.
