Enraged, she tried to attack Rama's wife, Sita, prompting Lakshmana to cut off her nose and ears. This is just one of the baseline reason why Ravana kidnapped Sita. There's lot more to why Ravana is what he is, there's lot of layers to his character and why he kidnapped her. Rest of the story, I don't wanna spoil it 😊❤.
