VisionQuest is easily one of my most Anticipated MCU TV Shows, Ever. After falling in love with what VISION could be in WANDAVISION and hoping for ULTRON Redemption (after personally being pretty disappointed in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON) this show is my exact Jam. Throw in some commentary on Artificial Intelligence, some generation trauma, some search for meaning, and a whole lot of glorious introspection WITH stunning visuals and Paul Bettany acting his android eyeballs out? Well, this show was made for me. Stoked to see James Spader back in the flesh! Stoked by extra Jarvis goodness! Stoked by the references to TOM KINGS Vision Book! STOKED! How are you feeling about this one? What did YOU think of this VisionQuest Trailer? Are you excited for more Paul Bettany as Vision? For more James Spader as Ultron? Venmo : Coy-Jandreau VisionQuest is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Terry Matalas for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character Vision. A spin-off from the miniseries WandaVision (2021), it is intended to be the 18th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from Marvel Studios and is produced under its Marvel Television label. The series shares continuity with the films of the MCU. Matalas serves as showrunner and director. Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision from previous MCU media, starring alongside James Spader, Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, T'Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and James D'Arcy. Development of a series centered on Vision began by October 2022, with WandaVision's Jac Schaeffer attached as head writer. She was no longer involved by May 2024, when Matalas was redeveloping the series and Bettany was confirmed to be attached. Filming began by March 2025 at Pinewood Studios in London, with Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali, and Matalas directing episodes, and lasted until late July. Throughout production, casting was revealed for various other artificial intelligence (AI) characters, including some returning from previous MCU projects. VisionQuest is scheduled to debut on Disney+ on October 14, 2026, and will consist of eight episodes. It will be part of Phase Six of the MCU.

Looks like they’re giving James Spader a chance to do what he does best, and I love that for him. So excited to see more of this!
“You are disgustingly naive” “Well I was born yesterday “ Will go down as one of the best written lines in mcu history
So happy to see James D'Arcy coming back for this! Loved him in Agent Carter.
i am more hyped for vision quest than for doomsday
I think the son here is Tommy, not something he created as a family for himself (a la "The Visions"). The personalities/identities in his head, I feel, are all parts of him that are part of his make-up (i.e. Jarvis, Ultron) and I feel we'll find out who the other parts of him are that we saw. Like whoever Orla Brady's character is that is part of him. Maybe a previous A.I. that was part of Jarvis' original make-up? I think, because he doesn't have the mind stone, all of those parts are separate and not blended into one person/personality. He IS trying to figure out who he is now and I'm SO here for it.
He’s not a copy of the vision that had the stones. He’s the remnants of that vision reassembled.
So excited! It’s getting overshadowed by X-Men and Doomsday but this miniseries trilogy has quietly been the best thing Marvel has made post-Endgame
Some fun extra context for the trailer, the two handymen in Vision's mansion are played by Jonathan Sayer & Henry Lewis, two of the founding members of Mischief Theatre & creators of the Play That Goes Wrong so they definitely have some fun things planned with this!
Vision is such an underrated character
I am so ready to just sit there and watch Spader cook
truly a beautiful trailer , the introspectiveness the longing for connection. the drab reality compared to the a beatutiful uncanny valley-ness that gives what should be an idealic world and yet feeling so empty and not so right. toxic parents thoughts and actions that were not you but are you. james spader returning aswell i cannot wait. coy you and i are speaking the same language. love to see comics you might recomend
Im so happy James Spader is in the cast!
The kid's Tommy but I'm more excited to see the other AIs - Jarvis, Friday, Dum-E and U - and James Spader's just.. chef's kiss
I hate comparing Vision the character, to irl AI. Because it's not even remotely the same thing 😂. Vision is more human than any irl AI could ever be
You are SPEAKIN' MY LANGUAGE, the visuals, the themes, the questions posed... this is EXACTLY how I feel about it all. This show has quickly become one of my most anticipated project. I can only imagine the experience we're going to undergo.
This got the juices flowin, as much as Doomsday. The Ashoka trailer was hype too.
Took a look on IMDB, apparently Edith, Friday and Jocasta are all in the show.
Whoever directed this needs to do the next Dr Strange or something with good color and visuals.
Never was a fan of Vision in the comics, but became one because of the actor playing him in the movies and streaming series.
What they meant by "Save your son" is refering to Tommy Maximoff, because (spoiler alert), Billy Maximoff bring Tommy back to life in Agatha all Along episode 8. if you want to know why's Wanda and Vision kids still alive just watch Agatha all Along
