This looks like If fast and the furious understood it has a silly premise.
Looks way more fun that it has any right to.
I'd be surprised if this has like a hidden twist into it that ties to it just being plain ol' Matchbox. Like how the plot of The Lego Movie was just the Legos basically being Will Ferrell and his kid micromanaging and playing at their basement.
I mean... i guess this makes as much sense as is possible for a Matchbox movie 😅
Come on, we need a Hot Wheels movie
This is such a random idea, doesn’t seem like it even needs to be connected to matchbox cars but looks kinda fun
It's an unofficial Jakob Toretto prequel story
I loved this trailer when i saw it a few days ago and i am genuinely waiting to see this movie (it's sad that is only on streaming, i wanted to see on the big screen), and the reasons for it was because I know that this movie was directed by the Sam Hargrave stunt director who previously directed Extraction 1 and 2 (i know you guys have seen the first one, and hopefully in the future you will see the second one) and now they are filming Extraction 3, and the other reasons are John Cena, of course, but most of all, i think that majority of the stunts are done practical, including the car chases and the fight scenes, i have also seen a few behind of scenes from this one, and i loved how involved John was in it, and i am genuinely waiting to see what he has done in this movie, i will highly recommend this one.
When he said "we're all going to wake up somewhere different" I was a bit worried because I thought they we're trying to do some kind of the Rock Jumanji of waking up in an alternate reality where they have action hero powers (basically a poor man's Never Stop Blowing Up for those that know Dimension20). But I'm happy it's not that and actually seems like a fun action movie with cool car-fu scenes that Fast & furious tends to have a monopoly on
Breakfast cereal mascots will be next for movie adaptations.
The fact we got a Matchbox movie before Hot Wheels, when Hot Wheels has been in Production since I was in High School... 20 Years ago lol. I can't wait!
The big question is.... why didn't Paramount Pictures (the other half of Paramount Skydance) pick up distribution for this film?
This may be the single thinnest story connection to a piece of IP I've ever seen.....
Made me think of True Lies but with a friend group instead of spouses
That guy was also the friendly biker In roadhouse
The sequel should be hot wheels vs matchbox
Mattel Executive: Alright team. We have done Barbie and He Man but we need to go bigger. So hear me out, Matchbox.
It makes absolutely no fuckin' sense as a concept but I'm in.
Are you so greedy that you couldn't combine all the new reactions into one video? Oh yes, how could I forget, because every video earns you money :)
I am confused....where is this Matchbox?
