Ramayana is not just an epic for us — it is our history, our truth, our heritage, and an important foundation of Hindu Dharma. 🙏🚩 Ramayana teaches humanity through its characters and their choices. **Shri Ram** teaches us what it means to be an ideal son, brother, husband and king — to stand by Dharma even when doing so demands enormous personal sacrifice. **Mata Sita** represents courage, dignity, devotion and inner strength even through unimaginable hardship. **Lakshman** shows the meaning of loyalty, sacrifice and unconditional love for a brother. **Bharat** teaches us that true love is greater than power. He had the opportunity to rule Ayodhya, yet he refused to take what rightfully belonged to Shri Ram and ruled only as his representative. **Hanuman Ji** is perhaps the greatest example of devotion, courage, humility and selfless service. Despite his extraordinary strength, there was no ego — only devotion to Shri Ram. 🙏 And **Ravana** gives us one of the greatest warnings. He was extraordinarily learned, powerful and accomplished, yet his wisdom could not save him when ego, desire and the wrongful abduction of Mata Sita took him away from Dharma. One grave choice can overshadow countless achievements. **Vibhishana** teaches that Dharma must come before even family loyalty when our own people choose the path of Adharma. **Jatayu** teaches that courage is not measured by whether we can win. Even knowing Ravana was far stronger, he fought to protect Mata Sita because it was the right thing to do. That is why the Ramayana remains timeless. It teaches us about **Dharma, duty, sacrifice, relationships, leadership, humility, devotion, consequences and the victory of righteousness over ego and Adharma.** Every character leaves us with a lesson. And when were vast parts of northern Europe and North America covered by massive ice sheets? More than 12,000 years ago, during the closing phase of the last Ice Age. The flying elephant is Airavata, King of the Elephants and divine mount of Lord Indra, King of the Gods. The vulture is Jatayu, King of the Vultures, from the Ramayana. Ancient Indian scriptures also describe celestial vehicles as travelling “at the speed of the mind”, an interesting concept when you consider that the mind can imagine itself on Mars in an instant, almost like instantaneous travel. The Ramayana begins when Ravana becomes so powerful and evil that all three worlds are threatened. He receives a boon from Lord Brahma protecting him from gods and other beings, but leaves humans out because he considers them too insignificant to ever defeat him. Lord Vishnu therefore incarnates in human form as Rama. One last thing: Rama is called the complete man. You’ll understand what that truly means when you either read Valmiki’s Ramayana or watch the movie. A little more context for, whoever loves context: Aranya Kanda 3.34, 3.48 and 3.55: Surpanakha (Ravana's sister) knew how to manipulate Ravana. She described Maa Sita’s beauty to trigger his lust, knowing the brother who killed her husband cared less about avenging her than satisfying his own ego and desire. Ravana then abducted Maa Sita. Valmiki makes his motive clear. It was not revenge, but Ravana’s lust, desire to possess her, and ego. And about Ravana being an “honourable man”: Yuddha Kanda 6.13.11–12: Ravana admits that he stripped Punjikasthala and violated her by force. Brahma then cursed him that his head would split if he ever forced himself upon another unwilling woman, which is why he could not force himself upon Maa Sita.

Time for the world to know who Ravanan truly was. So far He was portrayed as the king but devilish with ten heads or as someone who opposed a god, But He was a powerful emperor, a brilliant ruler whose people prospered under his governance. His kingdom was known for its wealth, beauty, and advancement, and he was deeply loved by his people. Ravanan was an unwavering devotee of Lord Shiva. The ten heads symbolize his mastery of diverse fields—warfare, medicine, music, astrology, statecraft, philosophy, and many other disciplines. He embodied extraordinary knowledge, strength, and wisdom, becoming one with the universe and the five elements (Panchabhutas). For generations, his image has been reduced to that of a villain. I hope this film goes beyond the myths, does proper research, and presents Ravanan as the complex, legendary king he truly was.

And its foundational text arpund which a whole ancient culture was built. Its got massive wars, creatures monsters giants shapeshifters wild creatures, armies of monkeys bears, gods demons, a consistent narrative, philosophy all rolled into one and its not preachy. Its core themes are love duty sacrifice. The battle between Rama and Ravana is the eternal battle between our higher spiritual self and our lower materialistic self. Everything you can ask from a story is Ramayan has that. Brotherhood Friendship maternal bond paternal bond. Its got grey villain. One of the greatest villain.
