Get rid of the toxic Mateta now. Why he started today is baffling.
We had great moments. Just didn’t take our chances away from home. We looked sloppy and weee punished by our mistakes. Not the worst start, definitely some positives. Everton moved the ball quicker and attacked with conviction.
Time for a reset. Sell Munoz, Sarr and Mateta. Build for a couple of years with players that are hungry to do well at Palace, like we did with Eze, Guehi and Olise. Build a team that can win a trophy again in 3 years.

Everton whipped us without playing well at all. The already thin defense loses a CB to a season ending injury, the backup is a season ending injury waiting to happen., the top scorer last year is on strike, Mateta will be on strike soon as he is trying to cancel his contract, the manager’s changes negatively affected the game. The new signing Khalilili was not good dribbled into defenders multiple times trying to be over elaborate. Pino was poor again, JSL poor again, Munoz very poor. The club is in utter disarray. How long until Munoz and Wharton go on strike to get moves off the sinking ship and as usual all this will happpen after the season has started. Parish and Hobbs have created a disaster. This will be he year of relegation
