Bryan Macias, 19, was accused of causing the death of his best friend Simon De La Rosa in a drunk-driving crash in San Antonio, Texas, on December 24, 2023. Macias was driving a white Infiniti G37 at a high speed, lost control, and crashed into a utility pole. Simon De La Rosa, who was the passenger, died from the crash. Macias was arrested and faced a felony charge of intoxication manslaughter, which in Texas means prosecutors alleged he was intoxicated while driving and that his intoxication caused another person's death. No confirmed public sentencing found yet.

As sad and depressing as this is, he’s still drove while under the influence of alcohol and could’ve killed more than just his friend. Moral of the story don’t drunk drive. rip

All I’ve learned from this comment section is that if you kill someone by accident you’re not a killer anymore.

Don't you dare call him a killer. What the hell is wrong with you? He'll serve time and has to live with himself. Last thing he needs is you plastering him on the internet.

My best friend since kindergarten can’t drive until his 37th birthday now he’s only 23 mind you because of vehicular homicide Dude wasn’t drunk or anything just left his girlfriend’s house really late because her dad who was a cop kicked him out. He fell asleep behind the wheel and hit some Lady smoking a cigarette out on the road saw the body cam footage of when they found him. He was holding her crying. You couldn’t even understand what he was saying sometimes accidents happen and you just can’t control it and neither side deserves the punishment they get
