Tiny baby birds mistake human squeaks for mom! 😱

Based off where that nest was place, birds abandoned that nest and their babies probably the moment they laid their eggs Edit: guys are we serious? There’s a metric frick ton of different species of birds, different ways of living, different thoughts and all of the sorts Not every egg needs to be laid on to hatch, not every bird will defend their nest like their life depends on it, not every bird is a good parent, not every bird cares, not every bird is smart or dumb enough, not every bird makes their nests in the same spots and not every bird has had the experience of parenting before Animals are wildly different, even if they’re the same family - I’m not an animal expert but like cmon We don’t know the situation at hand, the parents could’ve died And yes birds will abandon a nest if people are touching it or getting too close to it - the myth comes from if they smell your scent. Most if not all birds don’t have a sense of smell

Hey people! So many people are so worried over the nest being messed with and I get it, y'all are tender and it's sweet to worry, but the parents are nearby and likely watching, we have barn swallows where I work for the last 6 years have repeatedly rebuilt their nest right at the entrance to some very frequently visited buildings. And they don't mind how close humans get, so long as the babies themselves don't get harmed :) As long as the babies are unharmed the parents will return to them, they'd probably appreciate the break they'd get when the babies nap after all being fed lol

50 years ago, a couple of barn swallows used to nest in a lamp in the the staircase of my grand-mother's house, several years along. The window was left opened for them.

i guess their parents left them?..otherwise who in their right mind would dare to disturb their nest....

The mother bird feeds the chicks and like after 2 seconds they shit a pouche of poop that the mother eats. This lady had a fun and a funny on the little birdlets expense!

Blowing air slightly also triggers same response. I fed 2 Indian bulbul chicks for 3 days when their parents didn't show up due to heavy storm.

I hope he doesn't feed the birds fresh bread because fresh yeast can be fatal to them.and I honestly doubt that she collected small worms, earthworms, flies, grasshoppers, etc. We need to be careful that some people don't pay with their heads because of TikTok videos.
