I'm so tired of these predatory companies. Let me clarify something for the people saying just don't buy it. That's a simple way of looking at the issues. For everyone of us who will never partake in something like this, there will be so many others who will. And guess what will happen if something like this is a success for Apple? You better believe Samsung, Motorola, Google, etc...will start doing it too. These companies really don't want us owning anything anymore and they are becoming pretty emboldened with that stance. So yeah not going for this bs only works if the majority of the people push back against it but society has shown they really have no willpower when it comes to standing up for their rights and not being taken advantage of. Apple has already done research on this and more than likely knows that a lot of gullible people will fall for it.
