A blackberry and a thinkpad was the ultimate “I mean business” indicators, I don’t know why but these two brands were so intertwined with getting things done, it just makes it so cool. Probably a bit of nostalgia and a bit of “fancy new tech back then” coloring it, but still it’s great to see.
