I was very impressed with the deliveroo solution actually! As for regulation shoes, I was called one day when my daughter came with brand new black boots, as per the regulations, but they featured a little pink rose on the top. I came to school with a box of black polish and dyed the roses black in front of the whole class. Then I left leaving them to deal with my very upset daughter. Later on, she decided she would play by the rule, but not quite. And she would purposefully wear her uniform blue jumper under her uniform summer dress in the middle of winter. She would wear her uniform tights around her neck as a scarf…. they couldn’t say anything as it was nowhere described HOW any of these uniforms pieces of garment should be worn. I was very proud of my very cunning rebellious daughter. Perhaps they re-wrote the rules after she left.

Im a big fan of malicious compliance. They said her skirt was too short...2 inches above her knee is apparently too short....so she asked for a size 7x shirt. She wore it to school for a week before the principal called me. I said...didn't you tell her she needed to cover herself up more?

I used to put black marker on my white shoes back when I went to a school with uniform. First thing in the morning they'd call my mom to get me because they were "dirty" and they wouldn't let me back in. Skipping school legally 😂 my mom couldn't say anything, nor could the school
