If a collared wolf leaves the safety of a national park and enters Montana state land during the hunting and trapping season, it is completely legal to harvest it as long as the hunter follows state regulations. Montana law requires hunters who kill a collared wolf to return the radio collar to FWP within a specific timeframe. A rancher is also allowed to shoot a collared wolf to protect his livestock. Game wardens are typically exceptional survivalist and navigators, they undergo loads of training and often operate outside of cellular or radio signal zones (meaning they often operate alone in the deep wilderness). Help can be hours away if danger arises, which is why they are trained to handle it themselves… the audacity to act like/write them like they are somehow less skilled than a fuckin ranch hand is beyond crazy 😂

Yellowstone is clearly the pinnacle of human Entertainment. Why have functioning healthcare, public transit, or emotional stability when you can solve every disagreement by staring silently into the distance for 14 minutes before committing a felony on horseback? Every American should aspire to communicate exclusively through threats, whiskey, and vague monologues about “the land.” Imagine the national unity if all workplace conflicts ended in dramatic barn meetings and everyone owned at least six denim jackets. Honestly, the show should replace the Constitution. Schools should teach cattle branding instead of math, and Congress should only convene after a tense country soundtrack montage. wouldnt you just say you were shooting rabbits or something that left the corpses for the wolves, then the wolves just ate the rabbits and left up the mountain, WAY more believable

Saying the wardens would be this dumb, ya ok. They'd know. Especially with how recent the land was tilled, and how well he knows the said land, he would still be suspect #1

Every time I see this clip it reminds me how stupid it is. Those collars would’ve been visible through thermal. Collar would’ve absorbed the heat from the body. And would’ve shown up no mistake.

_So, did they bury the wolves where they shot them, then plowed on top of their grave to hid them? I clearly haven’t seen this episode._
