The towel trick or the weird shit people were doing with pennies, idk about that one
I left my one for a 1 and a half year and then I went to check it to sell it and then I works but most of my games like cod classics were wiped
Try you remove hard drive and turn on again
hey rickster, you can hold down the sync button then press the eject button to see the ring flash up to 4 times than pause, repeat that 4 times to get an error code.
Try replacing the fan a bad fan can cause it as well.Could also be a capacitor which of sent to a shop is most likely repairable.
Since your video before showed it booting then shutting off id check these. 1. Hdd could cause a boot failure and a red ring/ 2. Psu/the power brick, the system may not be getting enough power that could also result in it shutting off early. 3. Make sure to keep it cool by cleaning or keeping dust away from it.
My 500GB version of yours is broke too, but no red ring just nothing, its completely dead. I also have 250GB version of same model which still works and swapped its 500HDD and got the games back, but some needed redownloading to launch. I tried the power brick of 250GB on 500GB one and still did not work, so something must be broke inside the 500GB console.
Take it to a retro shop they could fix it
Idk all the details but you can wrap it in a towel and turn it on for a few hours and it will over heat and re sauder the wires and supposedly fix it
If your getting a new xbox 360, can you pls get the xbox 360 slim
I get nervous when this happens and its a fear that I still have as this had happened to my first xbox 360
don’t worry, bro you are the best. I will help you. How can you fix your Xbox 360? Your Xbox 360 is have power issues.
Na, I had th3 same problem. I had to send it to someone to repair something with the morther board, which should not be too expensive to fix
To bring it back to life or at least attempt I would recommend checking the power supply power supplies on these consoles Go bad And I would also recommend dusting it out And if both do not fix it then you have a hardware failure
Put it in the oven on a low temp so the plastic doesn’t melt but the solder does
You could try the towel methood but its a temporary solution. Honnestly you should either replace the thermal paste yourself or take it to a repair shop
This is how you disconnected number one open it up for school drivers number two go to newer motherboard they're you perfect
Use a the lengdary towel method
Theres a faster way btw: after unplugging, press the start button for 20-25 seconds so it drains the power left in the xbox 360, then plug it in again (and it works whit evey device)
Re-solder the joints
