Mad respect to junior throughout the entire show and by the end of the series, he was basically raising his youngest brother

A lot of the commenters haven’t watched the show and it shows 💀 the reason why she was surprised her eldest son was the one doing things was because she assumed her HUSBAND and their FATHER. Was the one picking up on parental responsibility as SHE was going through PPD (POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION) and was really struggling more as that was her first time ever experiencing it. But he didn’t step up because all he cared about was the fact that she was being a SAHM for a bit and was too busy “loving” her being at home. He didn’t “step up” until she got really bad and it started affecting him , meanwhile JR who LOVES his mother (he’s a proud mama’s boy and does things for her without her even asking) was the one who decided to help her with the younger kids since their grandparents (who live with them) and dad weren’t lifting a finger.

1. Bo is in deep postpartum depression 2. Her husband doesn't care 3. Junior knows something is wrong and tries to help his mom and siblings by buying cereal 4. They have a set of twins and she thought Dre had a vasectomy which is why she stopped taking her birth control and ended up with this last baby which sent her into deep state of depression Buy the end of the show/season no(mom) has a breakdown and doesn't know she is going through ppd

Wait isn't the mother are like nurse or doctor or something in this show? She must've known that the cereal is a sugar bomb right?

They keep on having more kids instead of parenting and caring for those who are actually there.

Mom?? In this scene see seems more like a stranger or a relative who's looking after the kids for a few days till the parents come back

Guys I am sure the show shows a more of a problem... but a overworked mother buying the wrong type of cereal because she relies a bit on her older son too much... is like... such a normal mistake for a mother. Like calm down she just bought Lucky Charms, the kids will survive. Or to sum up: I am sure the show demonstrates the issue better... but this clip alone proves nothing except she is a normal mother.
