Getting an BC250 for $100 is like striking gold these days.
That refresh rate thing was due to the DP->HDMI passthru. It doesn't do CEC stuff correctly.

This video brought back my PTSD of building PCs in the 90s where EVERYTHING needed troubleshooting to get it working. Especially the network.
Built my BC-250 box a few weeks ago for a total of about $400. Set some reasonable expectations and it's a surprisingly competent 1080p gaming box. The value is damn hard to beat, especially in a small-ish form factor. No regrets at all.
