Guys it’s not about them being accurate to Siamese cats, it’s about the music and how the cats act in the film. EDIT: WTF I POSTED THIS AN HOUR AGO- Ok wait hold let me explain. Just because the cats themselves are accurate to actual real life Siamese cats doesn’t means that ‘they’re just cats’ or are excused from racism. The cats are HEAVILY inspired by the Siam’s twins. (Both are identical, both are Asian, both are seen as weird or alien, etc). The Siamese twins were often featured in a multitude of freak shows due to their conjoined nature. Dehumanized to be just an ‘abomination’ or a ‘freak-of-nature’. Whatever, whether or not you think this is racist or not I beg of you PLEASE try to understand why people are calling it ‘racist’ in the first place before instinctively denying it because people don’t like being challenged.

I think It's more the musice teeth and voice. Also, they use a siamese later and have it shove chopsticks up It's nose in one of the songs (is i remeber correctly)

The problem isn't that they're accurate to the breed its that they made one play the piano with chopsticks and they then also gave the same cat bad teeth, the music is also a part of the problem
