last time i shot a big buck was in 2023 it was a 13 point every year since i havent killed a buck but im still so thankful that i have a gun too shoot and a place to hunt on thats what its all about

As my uncle said, if you're hunting for a rack, you're not really hunting. Real hunting is for meat, not a trophy.

While "rack" hunting has helped improve deer hunting overall, correct deer management includes culling inferior bucks. Personally, I prefer does for eating, and they hand out doe permits in my area like candy on Halloween.
