Get Shorty is an American black comedy crime series that aired from 2017 to 2019. Created by Davey Holmes, the series stars Chris O'Dowd, Ray Romano, and Sean Bridgers. It ran for 3 seasons and 27 episodes. Plot Summary The protagonist, Miles Daly, is originally an enforcer for a Nevada crime syndicate, spending his days handling all kinds of problems for the mob. But for the sake of his daughter, and hoping to win back his family, he decides to change careers completely — by becoming a film producer in Hollywood. During a debt-collection job for the mob, he happens to come across a screenplay written by a screenwriter. Miles realizes this could be his chance to break into the film business, so he teams up with film producer Rick Moreweather and begins making his first movie. The problem is: He wants to leave the mob behind, but he ends up bringing the mob with him to Hollywood.
