Physically unskippable thumbnail
Whoever came up with the idea for the thumbnail, and whoever created it: Give them a raise.
My takeaway from this is that Linus is secretly shredded
5:15 holy linus, wasnt expecting that
For now DLSS 5 kinda looks like those scenes from SpongeBob where they zoom in on the characters’ faces and draw them super detailed to show how tired and beat they are. Everywhere else I just barely notice it.
Adding blemishes to characters' faces makes them appear at least a decade older
Maybe Nvidia can reinvent their price model next.
5:15 Linus your already cut pleaseee leave some dlss for the rest of us
the thumbnail is so fire
5:15 did not expect Linus to have abs lmao
5:46 The DLSS 5 Camel Toe is diabolical
What I see is over-saturation in a lot of scenes but it also gets rid of the fogginess in Unreal Engine games. It's kind of replacing the Unreal Engine look with the DLSS look.
As a photographer, it kinda just looks like the Clarity slider in Lightroom 😂😂
5:15 Linus already has abs?! nice work
It looks like a contrast filter which costs you 70% of your fps.
9:13 A 5090 was struggling! Yeah, I won't have to worry about this for a decade.
Adding blemishes to the skin on characters' faces makes them look at least 10 years older.
It reminds me of people discovering the contrast and sharpen sliders. At first people tend to push that to the max cause it looks better, but now too clean because an issue. It always seem more "real" but gets tiring to look at over time.
It's like a Ren & Stimpy super close up
Nvidia saying "its not an AI filter" when it literally is a AI filter... They really should just grow the balls to say it how it is.
