My mom bro 😭she wont let us get plastic spoons because it makes us ingest more plastic but she drinks at least a glass of alcohol weekly 💔 Edit: it would appear that people are misunderstanding me or just arent understanding that alcohol is in fact harmful in small amounts, so i would like to explain a couple things. I don't think its a bad thing for my mom to be drinking, shes an adult and she can do whatever she pleases. Im not trying to imply that shes an alcoholic or anything like that. However, even small amounts of alcohol add up over time, and its no secret that alcohol is harmful to your body. Alcohol can cause i believe at least 7 different types of cancers and 8 in women, heart diseases, and cognitive impairments. Alcohol is, in fact, unhealthy, and anyone who argues otherwise is just wrong. My mom drinking isn't an issue for our family, or really a problem at all. The purpose of my comment was just to point out the hypocrisy of my mom refusing to use plastic spoons but drinking alcohol pretty routinely.
