Hi Nick I was the one who made “The Coastal Blossom Circuit.” I’m glad you enjoyed it. I tried my absolute best to avoid hard stops or any clipping objects that may stop you but it’s just hard to avoid without making the objects ugly and weird. Lovely to see Midori in these vids. Those dudes spent at least a combined 100 hours composing, designing and building that collab map.
When they capped the payouts for custom races, the devs effectively made custom tracks irrelevant. It's not like you would ever just run races for the money, but after doing a 50mi race, the added payout was a nice little bonus. With the capped payouts, even on an awesome course, you're left thinking "that was cool, but the payout sucks", and not doing it again.
