So apparently, while reading the chat in the stream alot of people didn't realize that lyn wasn't actually pregnant. I researched this in the middle of watching the beginning of the vod and was very confused on why chat was saying to 'plan b' lynn or 'abort the child's lynn had. She wasnt ever even pregnant, the cult made it up, it was a phantom pregnancy and she died due to exhaustion and physical trauma while 'giving birth' the infant they were 'holding' had no shadow and was a figmant of all their imagination. It turns into the last game that the technology they used had altered their brains, this whole game is obv Abt religious extremism, and heresy, not hearsay, but the religious term of people altering religious text to fit their views or agendas and basically blasphemy, you're turning something into something it's not just to fit your opinions and views, outlast 2 from what I've read is about Catholic extremism, which cathlotiscm can be a form of hersey because it has altered views on the bible, you can say that about Mormonism or any other 'christian religion' that isn't original and raw to form. Because it's all altered to create some other view than what God and Jesus intended for us to do or say or act. So yeah, lynn wasn't ever pregnant, the pagans in the movie created all that shit up for their own religious extremism and heresy and to justify their evil deeds of child sacrifice and murder.

look, i love joe, hes a great content creator but when it comes to understanding stories for games i feel like he aint all there. The whole point of outlast 2 is experiencing what its like to be one of the fucked up guys from the first game and the second game. The whole story of the first and second game has been a kind of religious psychosis. The game doesnt make sense, because its not supposed to, it is psychosis, psychosis doesnt make sense. I feel like people can say "oh well its just bad writing" Red Barrel made a great game, 3 times, the outlast series has some pretty crazy lore especially once you read some of the comics too. I must say though it does suck how short this game is and I do feel the antagonists were better in the first game and its DLC, overall though i think this game just has harder to understand story since most people don't read all of the papers and stuff and maybe its slightly bad to rely on the story of the game being told through collectibles but with something like this its hard to describe it any other way.

I swear sometimes Joe acts like he has no understanding of psychological horror. He takes obvious hallucinations as literally as possible and then gets mad when it doesn’t make sense or it’s not explained right away. You’re supposed to actually take your time in those school sections and take in the creepy shit happening, not just run past it like a minor inconvenience. It’s so obvious when he plays like that why he loses interest.

watching joe play this is so irritating because he refuses to do the things that tell him the story and the lore of the game.... he rates it a 4/10 but also refused to use critical thinking skills the entire time he was playing?? joe is an amazing content creator, but i dont understand why he plays complex games if he refuses to commit to learning the story and lore past just completing it. he doesnt undertstand that lynn wasnt pregnant, the significane of jessica, that murkoff towers were causing the hallucinations, etc.
