The best part was class. No mean girl energy between the girls
It’s refreshing to see the Tiv and Idoma attire and a few Tiv names Benue remain one of my favorite states in Nigeria.

Ego, I just finished watching The King’s Matchmaker and I honestly really enjoyed it! 🥹❤️ I love the concept, the fresh energy, and especially the fact that you brought in Tiv/Idoma name and traditional attire and even dance and that whole Benue feel. It was really refreshing to see something like that on screen. There is just one little thing I noticed, and I hope you don’t mind me saying it. 😅 The pronunciation of some of the names threw me off a bit. As someone from Benue, I found myself wondering whether some of the names were Tiv or Idoma because they were not being pronounced the way I am familiar with hearing them. I know it might seem like such a small detail, but I honestly feel like names are such an important part of representing a people. If I hear an Igbo name being mispronounced in a movie, for example, an Igbo person will immediately notice it. I feel like the same thing applies to Tiv and Idoma names. I really love that you made the effort to incorporate our names and give the story that Benue identity. I just think having a native Tiv/Idoma speaker around to help with the pronunciations would make an already beautiful idea feel even more authentic. But honestly, I loved the movie and what you were trying to do with it. ❤️ I just wanted to share that little observation because I genuinely appreciate the representation and would love to see more of it done even better. 🥹❤️ Thank Ma'am
Uzor just knows this love thing. He acts it effortlessly.
1:53:00.. I am Yoruba, married to the most beautiful Tiv woman Terdoo. I must say 💯 that I am super blessed to have her. Infact, my best soup now is "Pocho" with okro, with either goat or chicken meat. 😅 I am glad I went home to marry her to experience this tribe, where a whole pig was killed to welcome us, and we will be having our 13th wedding anniversary this month. Life is truly beautiful when you find true love 💕 and I am glad that the Queen mother allowed her Son to follow his heart. That is the lesson. True Love knows no tribe, it speaks all languages! It's a 10/10.🎉
