I bought an M4 MacBook Pro last summer with 32GB RAM for $1,879 USD, new. Idk how on earth people can justify getting a phone for hundreds more than that potentially

It's really astounding to me how many of these so-called phone experts while they're watching YouTube don't realize that in order to enlarge the screen you just have to swipe upward on the video. So many of these people tap the screen and then look for the enlarge icon which is the clunky old way of doing it. People you literally swipe up to enlarge and swipe down to minimize again. Such a handy feature. Don't know why more people don't use it.
No MagSafe would be a big bummer
If Apple can get Face ID into the 5.1 mm iPad Pro I see no reason why they couldn’t get it on the fold
Let me guess - the 2027 version magically gets Face ID and a 3rd camera (you have to have an upgrade path right?)

OMG, the crease being visible is such a non-issue. magsafe and face-id are way bigger IMHO
Imagine magsafe being excluded in top of range device. Face id will have to be on both screens in order to be used easily since most apps work with it when they are open. Cheapper to use finger scanner
The crease will never go away, and only get more noticeable over time until the screen fails.
$2300 USD is approaching the price of my M5 Pro 14" MBP 🤣🤣 I'm quite happy with my 17 Pro and honestly if the pirces keep going up like this, I might get a Xiaomi 17 Ultra or Oppo X9 Ultra. The cameras are years ahead of the trickle-tech cameras on the iPhone.

I ignored foldables until the Galaxy Fold dropped. At BestBuy, I got one in hand. I really like the “passport” size form factor.

They can add magsafe but they will wait for the next year so they can say iPhone Fold 2 now with MagSafe and new color.
I bought the phone Tim Cook introduced at his first keynote (4S) for $249. Seems crazy now with this being 10 times as much.
