I mean, in the original FFVII, you couldn't just land the Highwind *anywhere* either, had to be on grassy parts of the world map, not forest, or desert, or water, or mountains. So this is basically still doing exactly that but we're parachuting down instead.

I love the fact that it releases on April 8th basically a whole 7 years later after Remakes release on April 10th. I think a demo in early March when Remake originally meant to release would be great as well since they did that with Remakes demo too. A 7 year remake project and a 30 year story project finally coming to a close outside of future dlc. its going to be a wild ride.

1:15:09 - In Remake & Rebirth if you picked up a quest or side-quest you were always locked until you got it done or restart it from the top. They just picked up the quest from Cissnei and grappled away to go play queens blood while Cissnei ran off to the quest location. Part of the reason why the Main Story Only playthroughs felt better is that you weren't forced to walk, wait, sit, listen every 5 feet. This is directly showing you It's all up to you to dive into what you want, WHEN you want. I'm going to lose track of so many quests...and I LOVE IT

1:29:19 I've actually already got the days reserved off, myself. But I've never felt compelled to do that for mainline, so I suppose it's just a different crowd. Dragon Quest makes me go "Oh, neat," but Dragon Quest Monsters is ALWAYS a showstopper. Synthesis system is super absorbing.

That trilogy artwork is amazing especially with how it's all one continuous scene and there's no photo cuts or borders. Even the colors of each of the games bleed into each other's different photos that's nuts 😍
