It’s not a race car engine it’s just a 2ltr pinto engine. One of the easiest engines you can work on. Any garage could easily fix this. I have literally worked on loads of these engines. Owned 2 wheel drive 4 doors. 3 doors and an escort Cosworth for 18 years. This is an easy fix.
That’s not bore score. Water has been sitting on top of the piston and eaten away at the bore while it’s been sitting for a long period.
