You've reached the end
Bro that phone went flying 😭
I bet that guy regrets wearing shorts😂
Reduce your grip and accelerate slightly, works every time , don't shut the throttle as it transfers weight onto the front
Best advertisement for a motorcycle phone mount ever (the competitor's went flying)
In longboarding, it was called the "death wobble" and you try ride it out and not die.
I've seen a lot of videos with this happening to many riders. But no one would say how to recover. I've been riding for 30 years never had this ever happened to me. Thank you.
True. Let go of the handles, pinch the seat with your legs and lean forward to reduce drag (simply reduces the chance of your body swaying side-to-side which could make things worse). The caster effect realigns the wheels using your body as a inverted pendulum. Sounds nuts, but it's just science. Also the faster you go the faster it realigns. Saved my hide a few times. Twice going almost 200km/h. Some old-school biker knowledge passed down from my dad.
Tank slap😮. First thing I do to a sport bike is add a steering damper and tune the suspension to my body weight.
Weird how these videos don't tell you to accelerate out of the wobble? Always worked for me
I’ve heard lightly applying rear brake helps load the front and create stability quicker.
I go back and forth about this bc ive done both quite a few times at different speeds with the same results
That is some good advice and it works everytime just put your hands on the tank and wait
Don't let go. And brake gently. GENTLY.
The real way to stop it from doing a tank slapping is to accelerate as hard as you can because that motor will overtake that and straighten the bike out
experiencing tankslap on a harley probably the worst one
Got into that once on a yz125 I was around 12 years old. I was riding with my buddies we were coming back from the mountains and were on the main road I looked back to check on everyone as I turned back around I ran over top of a dog and all I could think was ease on the back brakes and it stopped. Scared the crap out of me. I went back to apologize and asked if there was anything I could do but I broke it's back. It was going around in circles in their yard and died while I was there. The woman was crying it broke my heart. They said it was an accident the dog shouldn't have ran out in the road they watched it happen. They thought I wrecked for sure. I still feel bad about it to this day. That was roughly 25 years ago
Motorcycles are made to be upright even without a rider. They'll self correct
Yeah bro I'm driving 200 kmh and then this happens I just need to stay chill nah bro I'm panicking as fuck
This happened to me on a 1993 cr250 going down a long smooth downhill in 4th gear. First time i rode the bike. It was my friends dads bike and he was watching. I locked the brakes and hit the berm at the bottom of hill and jumped itbin to some woods. Rode out like nothing happened but it was the scariest thing that happened to me on a bike at that point. I got back still sweating and scared and my friends dad laughed and said good save, it'll do that sometimes.
Hug the tank and 🙏 it stops
