How do you easily explain the difference between a CPU and a GPU? The MythBusters team up with NVIDIA to demonstrate it using a massive pneumatic paintball cannon! First, they show how a CPU works sequentially, firing one paintball at a time to slowly draw a simple smiley face. Then, they unleash the massive parallel processing power of a GPU, firing thousands of paintballs simultaneously to recreate the Mona Lisa in just 80 milliseconds! All tests were conducted by professionals on a closed testing ground.

the cpu is better cause the cpu is tracking the gpu is just shooting
Nerd version: The GPU paints your FPS hundreds of times per second. Your CPU handles calculations to TELL the GPU qhat to paint
A CPU can shoot one paintball, but a GPU can shoot many. I think I get it.
that image quality looks like 70s graphics game 😂
CPU: A teacher that can do complex math GPU: Students that cannot do complex math BUT can do simples math REALLY REALLY fast (still needs cpu's instruction)
I don't quite know how to put this comparison between the processor and the graphics card, but I can offer an analogy: Who would win—a 7-year-old child or a polar bear with a bomb and the strength of a gorilla?
If you don't get it the cpu can do calculation at the number of its cores (4-32) but they are complicated but gpu can do up to 1 million at on time but it's as simple as 1+1
Is it just me or did the laugh at the end sound like the one from feel good inc
GPU ground power unit
2 lol www
This is just 1 paint ball gun that can aim vs 500 paint ball guns that can’t aim, nothing to do with GPU or CPU
Basically: Ladder vs Teapot
Basically it's demonstrating graphics being painted by different tech
one painting vs whatever painting you want to make
Nvidia sales after this: 📈🔥😎 no wonder the graphic card cost so much 😅
I think this the only time where rockstar was good with their fans,in the time where they were taking down fan made mods
Mythbusters side quest
A cpu is more like a teacher and gpu like all students of a school
Its so funny seeing how underdeveloped people were back then. Its sad these gpus werent given to Ai researches
The actual difference between the CPU and the GPU is that, the GPU is basically just a brick with more chips to only calculate math, while the CPU does, and manages lots of tasks
