Me and my friends spent two weeks running a realistic Minecraft society server, and then removed every rule for one night. This modded Minecraft SMP had a real election with candidates and campaign promises, property tax and income tax, a town treasury, insurance you buy from the mayor, a sheriff with search warrants, DNA forensics that can tell you who placed a block, and consequences for anyone who fell behind. Miss your taxes and your base starts crumbling around you.
