I work for an air carrier. It is a fireable offense to stack anything on top of live animals. How is this happening so often?

I worked at a post office in Indiana during that time, and you can thank Loius de Joy for that. He aggressively tried to privatize the post office and fun fact he had stock in competitors like amazon, he was always making " buisness decisions" like this

There should be a way to fine the air carrier for this.

Just FYI Louis DeJoy was the post master general from 2020 to 2025. He was a trump pick and was on the board of alot of private carriers. His mission was to run the USPS into the ground.

De Joy has ruined USPS and he’s proud of it.

I hunt and eat meat and know some level of animal suffering is an unavoidable part of that. This kind of callous disregard for life upsets me beyond the appropriate level for the offense. I believe that’s because it represents an attitude I see in humans that’s common among the very worst of us.

The en-sh*t-ification of the USA is out of control. All so people with more money than anyone could ever want, can have more. 🤮

that was a very dejected shit. for good reason too. senseless loss of life borne from lack of care and ignorance will never be excusable.

DeJoy was the issue. He tried to destroy the USPS so it would be privatized.

The air carriers need to be held responsible for this gross level of incompetence.

This is Louis DeJoy's handiwork. He's singlehandedly responsible for most of the worsening of the USPS since 2020.

With hundreds of chicks, one or two passing away could happen with any transport option or just leaving them in their coops. Sometimes, death happens and no one is at fault or it would have happened no matter what. But THIS is insane and unacceptable.

For thine love of....you can hear the peeps from the boxes! Why in the world would you stack ANYTHING on them?!

It seems like none of the parcel services are good anymore at their job. No one cares anymore. It's all about speed. Quality and service don't matter anymore. This shift made itself very evident during the pandemic.

Work at the post office delivering mail, the pay isn’t great for many of us, the conditions suck a lot of the time, I drive a truck that has an increasingly high likely hood of spontaneously combusting and has no air conditioning because it’s so old. But when we get chicks delivered to our office, it’s like a boon to hear their chirping, and almost everyone finds a reason to walk over to that section of the office to praise the tiny creatures

I had a couple colonies of bees shipped to my place last year and over half of them were DOA. In times past I'd usually see 5-6% loss at most.
