Our 10-year journey around the world is finally beginning! 🌍🚛 After years of planning and building our 26-tonne 8x8 expedition truck, we've finally made it into Europe. But before the adventure really gets underway, we're heading into the Pyrenees for a few days to put the truck — and ourselves — through a bit of a shakedown. We find our first park-up in the mountains, get the vintage Honda motorbike out to scout some potential spots further into the Pyrenees, and head off on foot with the dogs to find a mountain river. Then it's time to take the 8x8 higher into the mountains, find somewhere to call home for the night and cook dinner surrounded by some pretty incredible scenery. This trip into the Pyrenees is our chance to slow things down, test everything out and start getting into the rhythm of living full-time in the truck before we head back to the South of France for something much bigger… The arrival of our first baby, Pebbles! ❤️ Once Pebbles arrives, the real adventure begins — 10 years, one 8x8 truck and a plan to drive around the world as a family.
