Just FYI. Never go in a pool while there's rain and potential lightening. And certainly, don't tell your dog to swim in one in the rain. Water is an excellent conductor of electricity. My grandma had a greyhound who was so afraid of thunder, she wouldn't go out to pee when it was cloudy! You had to pick her up and carry her into the yard. We never forced her out when it was raining, only when it was cloudy. Poor Rosie.
