Blizzard just announced a new StarCraft game at BlizzCon 2026. It is not an RTS. The new StarCraft is an open world shooter set in the Terran Dominion, led by former Far Cry director Dan Hay, and it is currently scheduled for 2030. No gameplay yet, only the announce cinematic.
