This guy used GrapheneOS against federal agents after they demanded access to his Google Pixel. A GrapheneOS duress PIN can wipe the phone instead of unlocking it, turning this Pixel security feature into a wild privacy story.

Well he did comply. It was their fault π
If I was his attorney then I would definitely do everything I could eat this up in court. They can't charge him with destroying his own property, we have a right to destroy our own property. And they can't charge him with destroying evidence because without the phone they have no proof that there was any evidence of a crime on it to be destroyed in the first place.

Yes confiscation by a government then claiming its thier right to take information and that they claim its thiers . We now have a government that can do anything. We are not worth much except to pay .

I'm not afraid to justify his actions, he absolutely did the right thing here. The phone belongs to him so he can do as he sees fit whenever someone steals his phone.

I've got a Google Pixel with Graphene OS but I don't use it. The UI is really 'ugly' I wish it was smoother and cleaner looking.

Best OS ever that a phone will literally become a piece of brick.

He didn't destroy it. The agent did.
