From my understanding this is a dog walking situation. It appears the dog got spooked somehow, attacked and ran off. Hats off to these people, who even though they were hurt, even though they were exhausted. they cared enough about someone else's fur baby to make sure they didn't get hurt....or worse *and* that they didn't hurt anyone else.
Poor baby, and what good hearted people. I hope the man and dog ended up being a okay.

For back story they are fostering that dog, the dog was so scared of everything when it came to them, while the man was walking her she got spooked flipped out of her collar and attacked the guy out of fear.
People don't understand that when you get a dog that is afraid of everything it takes a long time for that animal to Trust. Noone knows the back story of what this dog may have gone through. I'm glad the man that got attacked understands that. I just hope the dog will be alright.

Oh my goodness, all these people working together with such compassion to help this dog--and bless that poor bleeding man who accepted responsibility! That driver is an angel. Sometimes people are so good.
