My sister and her husband gave me a brand new vacuum about 5 years ago, Shark brand, and the brush has never spun. I contacted Shark and they said I'd have to pay shipping to send it in, and plus any repairs, forget that. Anyway I think I'll open it tomorrow to see if a wire is loose. Thanks for the video and idea

Love this. My favorite thing in the world is fixing stuff. Especially something random and small like a little vacuum. It's cool seeing stuff get fixed and not replaced
