Finally, a phone review that is not about cameras
Never thought I would hear someone say "it really whips the llama's ass" in 2026.
At this point I honestly think incremental upgrades are almost a good thing for Apple, because of how consistently stable they’re at things a phone should be. I think a large part of the world never sees phone as a source of entertainment and excitement, for which you would expect novelty, new features, and larger innovations. For the rest, I want there phone to just be there phone, doesn’t matter which model they use, which Apple has been doing an excellent job at. I recently switched to 18 pro max from 14 pro max, and the switch is so smooth, my settings are transferred so well that the 18 pro max feels like the same 4 year old phone but with a new case. That’s boring, let’s be honest. But that’s also GREAT
Finally a phone review that is not a camera review
My interest in the Duo: 4/10 My interest in the 18 Pro: 7/10 My enjoyment of this video: 10/10
"Hey Michael Fisher, a.k.a. Mr. Mobile, here's an idea: how about an iPhone duo review in your old stomping grounds of Boston, Massachusetts? I'm sure that us Bostonians will welcome you back for a day."
The blue is so nice! ✅
Your integrity is the main reason you’re the only tech YouTuber I trust (mostly) don’t betray us 😭😭😭😭
As a life long Android user I’m quite happy with my new iPhone and iOS as a whole. Don’t think I’m going back for a long time till Google gets its shit together
Hey, i've learned a lot about review channels that I've followed over the years. I've always been a tech guy. Always an apple fan. And you know what man, you offer some of the most fair and just reviews and recommendations of the software/hardware. Never heard of you before, but definitely subscribing to see more from you.
Man it's so relaxxing watching an actual review that matters , I just saw Mrwhosetheboss selling Iphone to himself.
8:47 SHOTS FIRED at the YouTubers! 👀
I dont care about the reviews per se; I'm just here most of the times for your storytelling, your presentation, your swag/charm, sick edits, your personal touch you bring to all your videos!
Always waiting for the MrMobile review and what a gem it is this year. Always considering viewpoints that most reviewers skip over. For the first time since the iPhone 5, I'm thinking about going back to iPhone so this is a well needed persecptive.
Hahahahahah! "If you're bored, that's kinda your own fault" hahahahaha! Just amazing.
8:19 apple will open up iMessage when the cows come singing over the horizon :D
5:23 as an old timey tech guy, thank you for the Winamp reference.
i love how they gave him a red powerbank for the sponsor segment, only to use it on anything but the red iPhone
11:33 it's really sad, I was gonna switch over as my galaxy s22 was giving up the ghost. But after using the 17 pro for about 2 weeks I had to return it because I was getting RSI due to the insanely bad ergonomics of the fundamental actions of IOS.
Thanks, MrMobile. I think you summed it up pretty well. If you take it in the context that this will, for the majority, replace much older iPhones (the average being a four-year upgrade cycle, according to Apple), then going from an iPhone 14 to the 18 is a big improvement. With that in mind, every four years, there needs to be a big step up in usability. I think most OEMs are doing this.
