Next thing you know they’ll make their own protectors made for this specifically to maximize their money

I wouldn't even open my phone before applying a new screen protector. I don't even use iphone I have redmi, no scratches, no broken glass, fallen off 100 of times (very fatal) running good after 4 years just some battery issue that's it

A basic one still works, just the matte and privacy don’t work.

I drop my phone hard atleast once a week just living a busy life and I’ve never had an iPhone screen crack or scratch badly with no screen protector.

The gorilla glass on the iPhone 18 is actually very strong, so I agree with the hardware engineer, and plus the Face ID only doesn’t work if you use a math screen protector or a privacy screen.

Me when I misinform : Basic screen protectors, aka clear ones still work. It’s the matte ones that don’t and privacy has their pov reduced

I agree with him screen protectors are unnecessary when a phone is that durable and also cases get rid of most of the impact anyway

iphone glass got a massive upgrade in 2020 to where having a case to protect the edges is enough, ive had a iphone 13pm for years without a screen protector just a case
