hi, look into Mike Arnold and his AR-5 construction video set. He goes into some aerodynamic theories that I believe, if you follow them, will result in your drone going even faster with minimal changes required. Your drone's fuselage shape is creating an undesirable pressure gradient in front of the wings which is causing drag. Eliminating that may be as simple as narrowing the fuselage slightly at its widest point, or if not possible, moving the widest point back closer towards the wings. This will help the laminar boundary stick to the skin for longer rather than arriving at the wings slightly turbulent like they are now. The improvement will be very slight in your drone's case as it is already very well optimized, but there definitely will be improvement. I've also got to wonder if the "top" wing is even necessary. You could eliminate the top wing and move the engine to the centerline which would reduce the front plate drag, but will move your cg back. Another thing to learn from Mike Arnold is the importance of extreme sanding and polish of the surface. His AR-5 skin was polished to standards better than production made sailplanes - and it makes a big difference to the laminar boundary. You may want to take a micrometer to your drone's skin and identify if there is waviness. If there is, it is slowing your aircraft down and polishing it out will result in higher top speed for nothing other than some extra time spent sanding. Glad to have found your channel. Try cutting the props by axial rotation instead of straight cut or have props done with proper finish tips.

I feel there still might be space to optimize the surface finish. Starting wither cleaner CAD model exports an printer settings. That said, absolutely amazing! This video deserves more views.

Your video cuts out due to Doppler shift. It's why it also happens when you're flying directly at yourself or away. The best thing would be to have a receiver that can dynamically lock onto the carrier signal using various auto-correction methods (they vary based on signal encoding type).
