I Literally Tunneled Through A Mountain With A Pickaxe

I once heard a story about a guy who dug through a mountain because his sick wife died because the only hospital nearby was on the other side of a mountain. This game reminds me of that

I am really impressed with this one. Making a digging game that differentiates itself from all the others by saying "hey, you are a wizard with magic and stuff instead of just digging with a pickaxe/shovel" and then making magic, the gimmick of the game, completely inefficient, awful and unfun to use that you are better off using the pickaxe unlocked 20 minutes in and play the game like every other digging game out there, now THAT takes a special kind of talent.

"It's so hard to tell how much energy we have the blue bar is so small." While the yellow bar gets smaller and smaller. -> goes to sleep Hmm for some reason the yellow bar got big again, well no idea what that means. Not a thought behind those ears.

"I make the smallest possible hole and then complain about how small it is and how I don't find anything the whole time. Also, I can't understand pictures" This channel in a nutshell

Ouch that use of the level up stone when 90% to the next level is rough. A few more swings and he could have had 2 levels.

The ore density in this one certainly seems weird.

I’m not sure if he figures this out yet, but wands use mana(blue) then energy(yellow), but they use four times much energy as mana. So if your wand uses 1 mana to cast and you have 2 mana and 8 energy, you would get 4 casts, 2 from mana and 2 from energy.

Game has a great concept but lacking in some areas. The wand vs pickaxe usage is very strange. You're supposed to be a wizard but can only go 5 ft with a wand vs 100+ with a pickaxe. And then the quest board spawning the same chest over and over is annoying.

"We're probably about a kilometre in already." Boy, I swear. 😂 It's less than 10 feet. I love these videos and I would love even longer ones but I know some of these don't have much in them or they're not very fun after a while, but I like putting you on in the background. 🖤

The pickaxe rhythm works soothingly well as a tempo for an endless mental playlist of Diggy Diggy Hole, occasionally breaking into a spritely whistle or hum.

Was just watching your vid when a random ad just showed your gameplay of a chess incremental with a voice filter to promote a mobile clone of that game, gotta keep them on check

It hurts me early on when he does see that Wand uses 4x as much yellow bar.... reading needs to be a stronger topic it hurts 💔
