#shorts #facts #viral Why do professional photographers hold their cameras with a single finger? Because while most people assume you should grip expensive equipment as tight as possible, Professionals do the exact opposite and it actually makes perfect sense. Since modern cameras are specifically engineered to be perfectly balanced at their center point. Meaning a single finger placed in the right spot holds the entire thing more comfortably than a full grip ever could.

Clearly never heard of a neck strap 😭🙏🥀
Yeah, no. This os not a thing
No thats not the main reason, this could be a reason but the true reason is that in photography and videography there is a superstition that holding ur setup carelessly like this is what prevents u from breaking it, but once u start holding it too carefully and tight, that's when you'll drop it and accidentally break it.
I’ve never seen any level of photographers hold their gear so recklessly
Ahahahahaha sarcasm at its best 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe there are designed for it but my anxiety is to high, that's why I always use a strap like a normal person And in school we constantly get told to never fucking do that with the equipment
ragebait 😂
stupid advise!!
My Canons, sure. My Leicas, no, but it’s not a death grip either.
Never saw anyone who carry a cam with one finger
People don’t go tell people about this especially a season photographer, it’s just those newbies that don’t know much about much .
did this it fell in grass... thankgod it ws grass
Lol 😂😂😂 why we keep making sh1t up have nothing to do with professional people I do this with everything I grab and I am not a professional 😂😂😂😂 and everything is perfectly balanced at the center of gravity lol 😂😂😂😂
there’s a superstition between us photographers that goes something like “the day you start caring about your gear is the day something breaks.”
That is wild but I still say. I caught myself doing it a few times just naturally and it is comfy but not very common
To everyone saying its ragebait its true alot of pro photographers including me semi pro i hole my setups like this because neck straps are unnecessary and annoying and ive never had my camera fall from me holding it like that
The day you hold something correctly is the day it breaks
The day you hold it well is the day it falls.
My teacher says to me "if you know the basic rules you can break them"
I do this to relax my grip, on a long day.
