I wrote the original Windows Task Manager. Then I broke this PC in four different ways — CPU, memory, disk, and power — and showed why the usual Task Manager diagnosis is looking at the wrong suspect.

"When I built the original Task Manager" is such a big Flex. "I finally made it good with 30 years of ideas" is just exceeding all possible expectations! Thank you very much!

A couple of FAQs I thought I'd pin! 1) It's now compatible with, and will install on, Windows 10 2) A Pro license is good for personal use on 3 machines, any mix of Windows/Mac/Linux, and you can activate/deactivate/move those three licenses around as well - I think that's it for now, but I will update this post later (if possible) if more comes up!

I've been waiting for MS to update this app for over 20 years. It just makes sense that the guy who created it is the one who completely amazes me with a fully upgraded app that shows EXACTLY what I need to see. BTW, glad to hear the son is doing okay.

Microsoft lost a real gem when you left the company. But if you stayed, we would never have met you. Thank you for always educating the masses.

You wrote it on your laptop while waiting in the hospital? You just can't stop, can you? Once a tech, always a tech.

Back before internet and interesting television; watching disk defrag was quality entertainment.

I didn’t understand why you wanted to spend any time on HDR graphics until I saw it on my M5. Wow. Great job, Dave! My computer is now efficient and my efficiency has dropped to zero.

Interestingly I find, more often than coincidence, when a computer is not being responsive, just the act of launching task manager suddenly frees up resources. Almost like Windows is doing something it doesn't want me to know about.

Before I retired I'd been in the IT industry for over 4 decades and so it takes something pretty special to get me excited. I just bought a TMOG pro license because this is an exciting product. Excellent job Dave.

I went ahead and bought it before I tried it. You've given me more than $40 worth of entertainment over the years.

I love this. The only thing missing is something similar to Procmon to see why processes are abending or failing.
