Try Flare for free: https://ntck.co/flare I gave my AI agents a company with Paperclip. Paperclip is an open-source app for managing a team of AI agents, with shared goals, assigned tasks, budgets, and human oversight. Their first job: figure out why flushing the studio toilet keeps disconnecting everyone from the NAS. I hired a Claude Code CEO, brought in my existing Hermes agents, and added Codex and agents running local models to build an IT department that can actually work together. Then I handed them the ticket and watched them investigate my real network, question each other's work, and come back with a verdict I still want to blame on the toilet. In this video you'll learn how to install Paperclip, connect remote Hermes agents, build a team across different AI harnesses, automate checks with routines, and use approval gates and watchdog agents to review decisions and check whether stopped tasks are genuinely finished or blocked. Whether you're trying your first AI agent or already juggling a bunch of them, we're taking those separate chat sessions and giving them jobs, managers, and a shared place to get things done. Long time fan - your content is useful, to the point and for the most part unbiased (I mean, you push what you think is a good solution - and I highly value your opinions from that perspective 100%). I'm mainly adding this comment because I've been going through a rough patch (as we all do from time to time) and I'm not particularly religious but I sincerely appreciate the end of your videos. Thank you
I would love to see some token/expense usage stats on these projects. For example, what did it cost to run all those agents to solve the toilet fiasco? AI power is wonderful and all but most of us don't have unlimited budgets to run them for everything. Would also like to see some of your choices/reasoning on why you decided to use which ai for which agents. Thanks for always praying at the end, its my favorite part.
Thanks for not editing out failures.
Dude I rarely stay 'til the end of any video, but I am glad I did for this one. That was a perfect prayer for what's in my head right now.
I would love a discussion about running these things on your network and trusting that they aren't going to hallucinate something and pull down your whole network. I'm wondering about some sort of "backup config on literally entire network infrastructure before doing any potentially destructive updates" or if you only give them read only access to stuff like your switches, etc. I like the idea of them monitoring and managing their own infrastructure, as well as my own home lab and family network infrastructure but that just feels risky as hell, especially if running a local LLM that isn't as capable as cloud based frontier models. Keep up the good work; love your content and as an athiest I still love the prayer at the end.
You can actually try Flare for free: /flare
This is just possible in Hermes itself.
My buddy is hard into running local AI. He has been testing different agents and models on his kit, but I think this is exactly what he is looking for. Thanks for everything.
I use Orca with the orchestrator function on. I have 1 architect and several Workers. I speak to the architect who dispatches coding work (roadmap, brainstorm planning, coding etc) to workers. When workers have questions, they ask the architect. Amazing stuff...
You really made me not to skip the ad
Stopped my time entry at my job to watch this video right now
I was watching this video on my apple tv while working from home. After the prayer at the end, I quickly logged into my youtube because i wanted to say thank you, don't stop. I am not sure if it was your first time or not, but as you can see the other comments its really appreciated and thank you. I kept saying in the moment in prayer with my eyes closed.. and you too chuck!.
Thanks for the prayer Chuck. I literally said, same to the guy on the other side of the screen, amen.
I love these vids, but one thing I'd love to see a small bit of focus on, is cost. The biggest issue I have with trying much of this, is how much it ends up costing between all the different agents/tokens/services. Like, for this toilet task, it'd be nice to get a rough guess of how much that costs, and honestly, could be a cool wrap-up task that one of your agents (CFO maybe?) could provide as an artifact.
I've never heard of this idea before...
I usually don't stay for the prayer. I just wanted you to know I needed that one today. Thanks.
THIS IS SICK! I've been using "journals" and "handoff instructions" for each agent to read and talk to each other, this is 100x better!
27:47 interesting perspective for those out there like myself who are not religious, don’t believe in god; Close your eyes and take Chuck’s words as a positive affirmation, as someone caring about you and wanting better or more good for you. It’s a lovely feeling that doesn’t need to be tied to religious belief. That’s what it is to Chuck and that’s beautiful in its own way. But it doesn’t mean it’s not for YOU. It IS. It’s love and positivity and we all deserve to feel that. Anyway, thank you Chuck. I really needed and appreciated that today 🩷
thanks for the prayer chuck, I needed that
I've been using paperclip for 5 months now. I have my own fork of it where i make little tweaks between major updates. They do a good job with regular updates every 3-4 weeks. I also run mine in a docker container. It makes set up a little more complicated but it's an awesome project.
