You've reached the end
Imagine spending almost 8k and it unfortunately died and the manufacturer said 'too bad lil guy'
Props to nvidia for protecting us from this by making their products too expensive to buy anyways
Having to use their cables is absurd. Please fix.
I miss EVGA
ANOTHER?
We need to start teaching every PC builder how to solder so we can just snip off these terrible connectors.
If this is how they treat consumer warranty concerns then just avoid their brand completely. Nothing is more frustrating than getting your warranty voided because of their hardware fault.
Jokes aside i didn't expect it either
Within 10 minutes is crazyyyy........ also nvidia should just replace the 12V hpwr🥀🥀
Nothing new for PNY. Smaller scale, but they tried to deny my ram rma using a clause that also wasn’t in their warranty doc. After multiple emails asking for the clause and setting myself up for an easy lawsuit they magically approved it. Oh and at first they didn’t deny it, they talked around it wanting me to infer it was out of warranty when it clearly wasn’t
Wait so if it’s not outlined in the policy it’s unenforceable
Damn close call i was going to buy a pny card but I got a colorful card
I would honestly go to court if that were me. Too much money involved and no way a judge does not see it the costumers way
PNY.....WHY
Y'all keep buying cards with that connector so there is definitely demand for the melting
I'm glad I bought my 5080 prebuild from Costco. Their return policy is the best. Lol
if you check the post again, PNY actually told another customer to use the asrock PSU 12v cable and it will not interfere with PNY's warranty.
I mean I hope he seriously goes after them legally because if they're trying hide behind an imaginary warranty clause that they can't provide written information about it then he has a case
There was a good reason I paid $100 more to get a gigabyte graphics card instead of the PNY one.
It’s apparently what they’re known for. Decent hardware, but you’re shit out of luck if something breaks because they’ll void your warranty if you breathe wrong. Effectively, you don’t have a warranty.
