Today was a bit of a slower day around the farmhouse while I recover, but we still managed to make some great progress! Brent worked on framing the aviary while I cleaned up under the oak tree, brought over a little outdoor seating area, and went searching for our old irrigation heads. We even found one, which gets us one step closer to using our water rights and eventually planting our privacy trees along the road. Robbie....PLEASE GET SOME SAFETY GLASSES! Watching you use that auger with dust flying..that can get in the side of your glasses. We'e all worried about your eyes!!! So exciting about you finding the irrigation!! Can't wait to see the aviary finished!
Please get cataract glasses that fully protect your eyes. I was getting nervous when you were using the auger and dust was flying up.. please take it easy and follow drs orders!

Wow, the aviary is going to look so great! Robbie, I'm a nurse and seeing you work on the irrigation with all that dirt and dust flying around, knowing you have that ulcer, was giving me a coronary!!! Be careful and I hope you feel better soon!

Robbie, your eyes need time to heal. REST. If your doctor advises you to stay indoors, follow the advice. I know the timing of the injury isn’t ideal, but it is what it is.

Do I think you’ll listen to your Dr or us or probably Brent? Nope, I’m not new here. If you take a few days off, we’ll still be here. Morning guys🌞...life is telling you to take it easy for a while ... you won‘t get better if you don‘t rest. You don‘t always have to be building/demolishing. Today was very pleasant, just discussing your plans for the road hedging...you can tell us more about your vision for the grounds around the house, we would love it! Geez, you could have filmed your cake making or just talk to us.... Invite your sister over for a convo, chitchat . .Bring us along if you have to water at the old house, do a little light maintenance. Bring a chair or two over to the old house for a while so you can film inside .Don‘t worry about wearing your sunglasses while filming, it‘s fine ...This too shall pass and we are along for the ride 🤗

I think around the camper & aviary is a great place to start small for an immediate calm living garden space. It's where you come out every day, sit in the evening and with the camper being home right now, a place to rest, plan and entertain visitors or work things out with the trades people going forward. This area is in your control when everything else feels like chaos. Love that you are putting a priority on a traffic buffer to shield your senses from that volume of noise and looky lou's.
